Reducing pipe, also known as reducer, is one of the chemical pipe fittings used for connecting pipes of two different diameters.
Reducing pipes are divided into concentric reducers and eccentric reducers. The materials of reducers include stainless steel reducers, alloy steel reducers, reducer carbon steel reducers, reducer 20 steel q234q345, etc. The national standard, American standard, and British standard, as well as various non-standard high-pressure stamping "Steel Plate Welded Pipe Fittings" GB/T13401-2005, specify the standard for reducing pipes. The quality of the reducer should comply with the current national standard GB/T12459-2005 for seamless welded steel fittings, and the Ministry of Electric Power standard GD0506-0507. The roundness of the reducer should not exceed 1% of the corresponding end outer diameter, and the allowable deviation is ± 3mm. The material of the reducer shall comply with SY/T5037 GB/T9711、GB/T8163、 ASTMA106/A53GRB, API5L, APT5CT, ASTMA105, ASTMA234, ASTMA106, DIN German standards, and customer requirements standards. Reducing pipe (big and small head) is a type of pipe fitting used for pipe diameter changes. The commonly used forming processes are reduced diameter pressing, expanded diameter pressing, or a combination of reduced diameter and expanded diameter pressing. For certain specifications of reducing pipes, stamping forming can also be used.
